One of the great things about being an NYC family photographer is seeing all the creative ways in which we use our apartment spaces. While one of the most common statements I hear from clients is that they believe their apartment is too small or not pretty enough for a shoot, I’ve always found a way to make it work. But that clearly wasn’t the case with this session. This session proves that when you venture just outside of NYC, you get amazing spaces without the amazing rents – and I couldn’t have been invited to a more amazing loft building or beautiful home. However, given this mama is a professional organizer by trade, it’s no surprise that her home looks like it’s straight out of a magazine. Their beautiful home, however, wasn’t the best bit – I was greeted and entertained the entire time by a very spirited little toddler who had such an upbeat and infectious energy. There was one song his dad kept playing that he couldn’t stop doing his cute little dance moves to – seriously, I think he was dancing for a third of the session. To this lovely mama, I hope the images live up to the vision you had for our session together and for the rest of you, feel free to drool over this family’s lovely home and adorable son!
