I said some time ago that I would use this blog to share snippets of my own life but, until now, I’ve fallen short on that commitment. I decided the best backdrop for snapping a few pics of my own life would be to reflect some of our regular weekend routine including a favorite neighborhood spot. And most of our mornings are spent just like this one – toddler wrangling! Our son needling to get as much time as he can with us, whether it is with books, toys (his favorite lately are balls) or by trying to get paintings down from our walls. Don’t be fooled: he may be small, but he’s removed two wall hangings from his own room! After we’d had enough indoor time, we headed out to one of our local parks, Indian Road Playground, which we tend to head to in the Spring and Fall. Because the playground isn’t close by, walking to it in the dead heat of summer or the depths of a freezing winter isn’t feasible. Looking back at these photos, I have that same feeling most parents do; like the days are going by too quickly: I just want to freeze my son at this age, for a few days, or forever!
